The Opportunity
As Senior Marketing Operations Manager you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the entire marketing function. This role ensures that people, processes, and budgets work in harmony to deliver high‑impact marketing activity.
Acting as the operational backbone of the department, this leader will optimise workflows, enhance cross‑team collaboration, and enable the marketing organisation to execute with clarity, efficiency, and scale.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Process Excellence
- Own and evolve the marketing operating frameworks to enhance productivity, consistency, and accountability across the team.
- Lead continuous improvement of the end‑to‑end marketing process—from agency briefing through to execution—to ensure seamless delivery and high‑quality output.
- Oversee the business project management platform (Monday.com), ensuring it is fully optimised, adopted, and embedded across all marketing workflows.
- Co-ordination of our marketing playbooks to support operators.
Budget & Resource Management
- Take full responsibility for the overall marketing budgets, ensuring accurate planning, forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
- Manage resource allocation and spend with key agency partners, printers, and external suppliers to maximise value and efficiency.
- Ensure strong commercial discipline across all marketing operations.
Leadership:
- Whilst there is no direct leadership – this role will look to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across marketing, digital, and EPOS teams.
About You
- Significant experience in marketing and project management, with a proven track record of operational leadership.
- Strong project management capability, with the ability to structure complex workflows and drive delivery at pace.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across a full marketing organisation, including marketing, digital and agencies.
- Experience driving change, improving processes, and managing cross‑functional relationships in a fast‑moving environment.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and external partners.
