We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Gaming Income Reconciliation Analyst to join our finance team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of gaming machine income across our estate.
You’ll play a vital part in protecting a high-value revenue stream, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and audit to investigate discrepancies, maintain financial controls, and support accurate reporting.
Reconciliation & Income Verification
Reconcile AWP and SWP income across pubs, supplier statements, and end-of-week declarations
Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate reporting
Ensure all gaming income is correctly posted and matched within balance sheet accounts
Process and match supplier invoices against reconciled income and contracts
Audit & Compliance
Work closely with Internal Audit to resolve reconciliation issues
Prepare supporting documentation for audits and finance reviews
Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with company procedures
Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as a key contact for pubs, suppliers, area managers, and internal teams
Build strong working relationships across Commercial, Estates, and Audit teams
Escalate significant issues where necessary
Reporting & Analysis
Produce regular and ad hoc reports on income performance and variances
Support period-end processes, including journals and accruals
Contribute to finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience in a finance assistant or reconciliation role (preferred)
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with excellent attention to detail
Confidence working with large datasets and investigating variances
Proficiency in Excel and finance systems (experience with D365 Business Central is a plus)
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, positive approach with a strong sense of ownership
Desirable:
Knowledge of gaming operations (AWP/SWP) and supplier relationships
Be part of a collaborative and supportive finance team
Play a key role in safeguarding a significant revenue stream
